yesterday mike and i headed for amoeba records (not berkley). i saw a bunch of cd from electronica artists and found a couple to listen to. their listening posts were very cool to check out. a large portion of the music from that store was loaded into the system for preview.
we walked around golden gate park for a while. in the park is a japanese garden. it was just like being back in japan. ok, so i've never actually been to japan. but if i had, it would be like i was back there again. there is a small place for tea at the end of the walk. we had some green tea. just like japan...well, you know.
finally, we came back to the hyatt and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. the sun set as we fiinished up our main meals. the view was nice from the restaurant (on one side of the building), but not as good as from the lounge.
i'm still a little on east coast time. trying to wake up...i need to go work out now. maybe i can do something without falling asleep on the fitness equipment. oh, in the center of the picture where the bay is, you see a couple of hills. right below them is a building coming up from the city shore line and it looks like a "T." the horizontal object is alcatraz.
the gallery has a bigger version the of the image.
